GABI Visits Doosan Heavy Industries in Korea with delegation from the U.S. advanced nuclear companies

From August 15 to August 19, GABI led a delegation of representatives from U.S.-based advanced nuclear companies and developers to the Republic of Korea for an exploratory mission to learn more about Korea’s nuclear energy R&D and industrial capabilities. This mission was intended to be a springboard for discussion of possible collaborative opportunities between U.S. advanced nuclear firms and various nuclear energy-related organizations and entities in Korea.

The delegation engaged in public workshop discussions on U.S.-Korea cooperation on advanced reactor concepts, as well as site visits to and private meetings with Seoul National University, KAERI, Doosan Heavy Industries, and Korea Hydro Nuclear Power.
