Part of our mission is to educate and provide a platform for discussion on issues relevant to nuclear energy policy. GABI’s nuclear energy programs focus on several key themes: the global expansion of nuclear power, US-allied civil nuclear partnerships, developments in foreign and domestic nuclear energy programs, and back-end nuclear fuel cycle management. Multilateral Nuclear Energy Dialogue
GABI’s Multilateral Energy Dialogue brings together leaders and experts from government, industry, academia, research institutions, and the policy community to discuss emerging energy challenges and opportunities for international cooperation.
Through candid, small-group discussions, expert exchanges, and site visits, the program explores issues such as energy security, rising electricity demand, advanced energy technologies, nuclear energy, grid reliability, and the growing impact of AI and data centers on global energy systems.
The Dialogue provides a platform for participants from the United States and international partner countries to exchange perspectives, strengthen relationships, and identify practical opportunities for deeper collaboration.
Nuclear Energy Workshops
GABI hosts expert-level workshops that examine the broader strategic environment shaping the future of nuclear energy, including policy, economics, financing, energy security, geopolitics, safety and security, public confidence, market development, and international cooperation.
Through candid dialogue and expert exchange, the workshops help participants better understand emerging challenges, build trusted relationships, and identify practical opportunities for cooperation that support the responsible growth and deployment of nuclear energy worldwide.
Congressional Briefings
Nuclear energy has gained strong bipartisan support as policymakers increasingly recognize its role in energy security, reliability, and economic competitiveness. GABI’s Congressional Programs are designed to provide Members of Congress, congressional staff, and other policy professionals with accessible, balanced information on key nuclear energy issues.
Through roundtable discussions and dialogue with experts from government, industry, academia, and the policy community, the programs help participants better understand nuclear energy policy, emerging technologies, energy security, economic opportunities, and the role of nuclear energy in meeting America’s growing energy needs.
