Present and Future of US-Korea Civil Nuclear Cooperation

In partnership with the Center for International Nuclear Policy and Peace Studies in Kyung Hee University (KHU) in
Seoul, Republic of Korea (ROK), the Global America Business Institute (GABI), based in Washington DC, is
organizing a high-level private dialogue on opportunities and avenues for civil nuclear cooperation between the
United States and Korea. This workshop will seek to facilitate candid and frank discussion on important issues
pertaining to U.S.-Korea nuclear energy cooperation, with the long- term objective of establishing the
foundations for an international advisory committee that can convene on a regular basis and provide expert
input on processes and decisions affecting bilateral collaboration. This workshop will not be for attribution—a
briefmemorandum outlining and summarizing the general lessons and findings ofthe workshop will be produced
after the conclusion of the meeting.
