Hydrogen has not typically received significant federal support compared to other clean energy technologies,
\nbut the recent federal legislations such as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act
\nprovide strong federal support for hydrogen energy technologies. Under the Inflation Reduction Act, there
\nare significant tax incentives for both the production and end uses of clean hydrogen. The tax incentive will
\nbe based on the carbon intensity of the production of hydrogen with clean hydrogen receiving up to $3\/kg
\ntax incentive. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law has provided up to $8 billion in available funds for up to 10
\nclean hydrogen hub demonstrations. While currently projects are being requested by the government,
\nfurther guidance and development is needed to accurately anticipate the upcoming demand of hydrogen
