ESIF is equipped with<\/p>\n<p>a number of different attributes and testing capabilities. One of ESIF\u2019s key attributes is the Hardware-in-<br \/>\nthe-Loop (HIL) testing capability that allows experiments to be connected to virtual simulations in order to<\/p>\n<p>collect real-time data that cannot be collected in the field. Furthermore, NREL works with various domestic<br \/>\nand international partners, both public and private, to help bridge the gap between early stage research<br \/>\nand market readiness.
