GABI participates in the Environment and Environmentalism in East Asia Conference

GABI President Ms. Florence Lowe-Lee participated in “Environment and Environmentalism in East Asia,” a conference hosted by the Taiwan Studies program at the University of Alberta at the Banff Centre from June 3-7, 2016. The conference brought together scholars, environmental NGO representatives, and journalists “to consider the challenges of environmental protection and sustainable development in East Asia.” Ms. Lowe-Lee was one of the participants, and spoke on the role of nuclear power in environmental and carbon mitigation efforts in the region.
