From August 31 to September 1, GABI President Florence Lowe-Lee participated at the 2014 United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) – Handong Global University (HGU) Samoa Forum on “Capacity Building in Higher Education, Energy, Water, and Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation for Achieving Sustainable Development I the Small Island Developing States.” Remarks were given by Dr. Soon Heung Chang, President of HGU, and H.E. Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations.
